WatchGuard Technologies has published a critical security vulnerability affecting older versions of the WatchGuard VPN Client. This vulnerability could allow a remote, unauthenticated attacker to execute arbitrary code through the VPN service. To help protect your system, please ensure you are using the latest WatchGuard VPN Client version: 2026.2.1 (or 12.12.1, depending on your firewall version). If you receive a prompt to update your VPN client, please install the update as soon as possible. If you are a fully managed client, Makios will deploy the VPN client update through our NOC, and no action is required on your part.
