This year, we’re proud to celebrate an incredible milestone. Our co-owner and Chief Technology Officer, Ivan Flores, is celebrating 16 years with Makios.
Ivan joined Makios in May of 2010, and over the past sixteen years, he has helped shape not only our technology, but our company as a whole. From solving some of the most complex technical challenges for our clients to helping guide the future of Makios, Ivan’s knowledge, leadership, and commitment have made a lasting impact on our team and the clients we serve.
Much of Ivan’s work happens behind the scenes. It does not always get the attention it deserves, and frankly, it is probably taken for granted more often than it should be. But that does not make it any less important. His work has been foundational to who we are and how we serve our clients.
If you’ve ever worked with Ivan, you know there is not much he cannot figure out. Whether he is troubleshooting a difficult issue, designing long-term technology strategies, or mentoring our team, he approaches every challenge with patience, determination, and an incredible depth of knowledge. It is no surprise that our team considers him our resident technology oracle.
When we asked Ivan to reflect on the past sixteen years, he said:
“16 strong and counting. It has been a fantastic roller coaster of challenges, growth, good times, and the gift of sharing it all with an amazing group of people. I truly feel blessed.”
Out
side of work, Ivan loves spending time with his wife and their dogs. He enjoys anime, movies, and just about anything starring Adam Sandler, which he can probably quote word-for-word. And if you have ever seen a stash of gummy candy nearby, there is a decent chance it belongs to him.
While his hobbies keep life entertaining, his dedication to Makios and our clients is what truly sets him apart.
Ivan, thank you for sixteen years of hard work, innovation, leadership, and partners
hip. We appreciate everything you do and look forward to celebrating many more milestones together.
Happy 16th Anniversary, Ivan.
