Celebrating Two Years of Dedication, Ganas, and Heart at Makios!
This month, we’re excited to celebrate Luis’ second anniversary at Makios, a milestone marked not just by time, but by the tremendous impact he makes every single day.
When Luis joined us in, we knew we were welcoming an experienced IT professional with decades of knowledge behind him. What we didn’t know was just how deeply his presence would shape our culture, our teamwork, and the way we show up for one another. Now a few years later, Luis continues to be the same steady, positive force we’ve all come to rely on, the teammate who solves problems with calm confidence, treats everyone with kindness, and never hesitates to go the extra mile (often literally).
Because yes, the marathon runner in him is still going strong! Luis’ passion for running isn’t just a hobby, it’s a mission. He continues participating in races that raise funds and awareness for meaningful causes, often dedicating his time, energy, and resources to helping others. His drive to serve is every bit as inspiring as his commitment to his craft.
And when he’s not supporting clients, strengthening our systems, or crossing a finish line, you can usually find him doing what he loves best: reading. Luis leads by example, reminding us that curiosity and growth are lifelong pursuits. One of the things we appreciate most is the sincerity and humility he brings to his work. Despite his expertise, he always approaches challenges with openness and gratitude, something that lifts the entire team.
