This month we celebrated the 14th work anniversary of my wife, Arleene. When we started Makios, Arleene worked full-time at UTEP. After work she would come home and handle her Makios responsibilities (yes, she is a superwoman). After a year she quit her role at UTEP to work full-time at Makios as the Co-Founder and Accounting Manager. Arleene has been a constant source of strength and encouragement for Makios since day one.
When we had our first child, she began working part-time for Makios, and last year, she came on board full-time to support the financial aspect as we continue to grow.
“I am back full time, and I am not going to lie, I am not a morning person, but I do enjoy coming to the office, some days better than others...lol. I have that feeling again of being part of a team, and everyone here helps each other, which makes it easier and fun to do your job.” - Arleene
